Arcane Slushie
12 dice, Handmade resin D6 dice, dice with varying subtle color shifts, some are more blue some are more purple etc etc.
Arcane Slushie
Terra drank the whole thing in one go, hurried like a naughty child gobbling up sweets on the walk home before dinner. It was cold in her bones, sweet behind the eyes, and a little crunchy as if her tongue chewed the ice instead of her teeth. She wiped her mouth with her sleeve, blinked once, and then noticed the floor tiles were scooting around to spell her name. She waved shyly.
One of them winked.
The air got heavier like the world was leaning in to tell her a secret. Her backpack sprouted little wings and did a slow, lazy backflip. A frog on her path started conducting invisible music with a stick of chalk. and somewhere far off, she could hear the invisible choir of frogs belting out Latin hymns.
Terra stood very still so she wouldn’t spook the magic, and also because her shoes were currently tap dancing without her permission.
Then, just like that, it stopped. Her shoes behaved. The frogs went quiet. Her backpack fell over and pretended it hadn’t done anything weird at all. Terra snorted, kicked a pebble that sparkled on the way down, and walked home like she hadn’t just accidentally bent reality a little.
Like her backpack hadn't become just that little bit heavier.
